Position Summary Join our dynamic team as a Lead Mainframe Systems Programmer where you will play a crucial role in enhancing our mainframe infrastructure. You'll be involved in the installation, testing, and implementation of cutting-edge operating systems and systems software. This position involves: Maintenance and debugging of systems software. Coordination with technical teams including CICS, Database, Network, and Hardware/Storage. Researching and evaluating new software and hardware products. Providing technical assistance and resolving issues for team members. Monitoring and tuning of systems software to ensure optimal performance. Utilizing in-depth knowledge of z/OS components and supporting systems software such as tape management, scheduling, and security. Key Areas of Focus for this Role Installation and maintenance of Mainframe Systems Infrastructure software (including z/OS and/or ISV products). Incident and Problem resolution. What the Ideal Candidate Brings to this Role This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who meets the following qualifications: Over 10 years of experience managing teams in a mainframe environment within a large enterprise, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Technical proficiency across multiple Mainframe teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for creating client-facing documents. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong customer service skills at a management level. Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities. Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills for liaising with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior team members. Other Qualifications Ability to perform the skill set of a Mainframe Systems Programmer. Capable of executing complex ISV installations. Proficient in leading complex projects. Ability to mentor and demonstrate leadership qualities. Why Ensono? The estimated pay range for this role is between $85,000 and $148,000 annually, based on a full-time schedule. Factors influencing placement within this range include skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs. Additional compensation may include an annual bonus based on performance and an equity grant through our Associate Equity Appreciation Program.
