Be part of EY and help build a better working world. HR Transactions - Manager In the People Consulting team, we focus on delivering long-term value by putting humans at the center of transformation. We assist our clients in reimagining their workforce and addressing complex people-related issues. The Opportunity We're looking for a Manager to take the lead in global HR Mergers and Acquisitions, Divestitures, and Spins. You will support HR operations, organizational alignment, and employee experience from initial due diligence to project execution and Day 1 go-live. This role involves producing detailed HR due diligence reports, developing integration and separation plans, managing project execution across HR workstreams, and enhancing employee communications during the transactions. Your Key Responsibilities As a Manager, you will manage multiple M&A projects. Your responsibilities include: Leading and delivering high-quality client service with innovative HR solutions. Balancing multiple priorities with a focus on client satisfaction. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients while identifying follow-on engagement opportunities. Demonstrating relevant technical skills in M&A, particularly in HR operations design, data analytics, and understanding the workforce impacts of mergers and acquisitions. Skills and Attributes for Success To excel in this role, you need a combination of technical and business skills: Experience with HR aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Hands-on experience in due diligence and full M&A lifecycle. Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate teams. A practical approach to problem-solving and gaining client consensus. Contributions to business development through proposal preparation and client presentations. Proficiency in utilizing technology such as Microsoft Co-Pilot and AI tools for data analysis and workflow enhancement. To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have A bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or psychology. At least 7 years of relevant experience. Experience in a professional services firm or related industry role with exposure to large-scale projects. Expertise in automation assessments and prioritization. Strategic thinking focused on digital solutions and HR compliance awareness. Willingness to travel as necessary, working in a hybrid environment with an average of three days per week at client sites or EY offices. Ideally, You Will Also Have Experience in process optimization and HR technology implementation. Experience delivering HR transformation engagements. The base salary range for this job across the US is $125,900 to $231,100, with higher ranges for specific regions, reflecting various factors such as experience and skills.
