Shift is 4x10 days, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. On-call required: 1-2 nights per week, one weekend every six weeks, and possible holiday call. Preferred case types include Right and Left Heart Cath Diagnostic, PCI, Complex PCI, CTO, ASA, PFO/ASD, MitralClip, Watchman, PTMV, TAVR, and Peripheral Vascular. The facility has 5 Cath lab rooms plus a Hybrid OR. First-timers are accepted. Radiation badge must be provided by the agency. Block schedule accommodations will be made at the manager's discretion. Local candidates within a 60-mile radius may be considered on a case-by-case basis. All requests for time off must be included during submission and will be evaluated according to facility needs. The facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, they may be assigned to emergency response teams. Hurricane season runs from June through November, with August and September being peak months for activity. Modules are non-billable and will average 4 hours spent on them. Module hours will be included in NBO (not billable hours) and reported by the facility. Candidate will not be cleared to report until the SC license is issued and active. Position is in a Level I Trauma Center and a teaching facility with 865 total staffed beds. Preferred charting system is EPIC.
