Job Overview The Accessibility Support Specialist plays a vital role in reinforcing T-Mobile's commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. This role manages the interactive accommodation process for employees and applicants needing medical, disability-related, or religious accommodations. By acting as both a case manager and a trusted consultant, this position guarantees that requests are addressed consistently, compassionately, and in accordance with federal, state, and local laws (including ADA, ADAAA, PWFA, and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act). The ideal candidate will blend strong relationship management, analytical skills, and regulatory knowledge with sincere empathy for the employee experience. This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in the office) based in Overland Park, KS. Job Responsibilities: Oversee accommodation requests for employees and applicants across the TMUS enterprise, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Facilitate the interactive process in collaboration with employees, HR, managers, and external medical providers to identify effective and reasonable accommodations. Assist with religious accommodation requests and coordinate with relevant internal partners as necessary. Maintain accurate documentation, case tracking, and reporting for all accommodation requests; provide data or case support for EEOC or legal inquiries. Serve as an internal consultant to HR and business leaders, offering guidance, training, and recommendations on accommodation processes and accessibility. Collaborate with internal teams as needed to develop and integrate programs that support employees holistically. Stay updated on federal, state, and local accommodation regulations, industry standards, and accessibility trends through continuous education and professional engagement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare, Vocational Rehabilitation, or a related field; or a relevant combination of education and experience. 2 - 4 years of experience in disability accommodation and return-to-work coordination. Knowledge of ADA, ADAAA, PWFA, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and other state/federal leave and accommodation laws. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills, demonstrating tact and professionalism. Experience with Workday or other HRIS systems preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Certifications PHR, CPDM, or CDMS preferred. Actual pay will depend on various factors such as location, qualifications, and experience. At T-Mobile, employees in regular roles are eligible for an annual bonus based on performance.
