Title: Maintenance Millwright Location: 8404 River Road, Geismar LA Need to be comfortable with computers, documenting digitally and putting into software. Trade certification is a plus. Schedule is somewhat flexible - 8/5, 4/10 or 9/80 is acceptable. 100% onsite role. Responsibilities: Millwright The purpose of this role is to provide support as a Millwright. Focus will be writing and documenting procedures for Millwrights. This resource will help team enhance a library of procedures. Executing maintenance work. Experience in Word and Excel. Comments/Special Instructions Needs to be mechanical and computer savvy. Timing: 6 AM to 4 30 PM Key Responsibilities: Installation: Positioning, aligning, and securing machinery using tools like cranes, hoists, and levels. Setting up new equipment based on technical drawings or blueprints. Maintenance and Repair: Inspecting machinery for wear or damage and conducting preventive maintenance. Replacing defective parts like bearings, gears, and belts. Troubleshooting: Diagnosing mechanical problems and determining corrective actions. Adjusting or calibrating machines to improve efficiency. Fabrication: Modifying machinery and equipment to meet specific production needs. Welding or cutting parts when required. Precision Work: Using measuring tools like micrometers and laser alignment systems to ensure precise installation and operation.
