This includes changing bedding, bathing, assisting with hygiene routines, and ensuring wound dressings are kept clean and dry. You will also guide family members in effective caregiving techniques and maintain open communication with supervising registered nurses regarding patient progress and family needs. Qualifications: To be eligible for this role, you must meet one of the following criteria: At least 1 year of full-time experience in direct client care within a hospital or nursing facility 1 year of experience in direct client care within a home health or hospice setting in the last 5 years Completion of a training and competency evaluation program that conforms to federal and state regulations Registered and listed in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in your state of employment You must also have a valid state driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation. Exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to recognize individual patient needs, and effective communication with supervisors are crucial for success in this role.
