KPMG is thrilled to announce an opening for a Cyber Security Operations Manager within our Enterprise Security Services organization. Join us in a dynamic, fully remote role focused on enhancing our cyber security measures. Key Responsibilities: Leverage your expertise in IT security and incident response as a specialist in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to oversee our round-the-clock cyber security operations, developing and documenting extensive processes through playbooks and automation. Manage activities related to incident management, threat hunting, forensic analysis, and implementing remediation strategies to reduce risks; conduct regular assessments to uncover vulnerabilities and evaluate security change requests. Define, configure, and optimize security monitoring tools, including alerts, correlation rules, and reporting mechanisms; create automated solutions for security monitoring and response. Analyze security events with intelligence and analytical products to inform tailored risk prioritization and mitigation strategies, sharing insights to elevate our security standards. Act as a subject matter expert, remain abreast of the latest security technologies and practices, mentor team members, and foster strong relationships with internal tech teams for aligned collaborative strategies. Guide team deliverables, lead small to medium-scale projects, manage stakeholder expectations, and play a vital role in leadership decision-making while overseeing junior staff members. Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and accountability to uphold KPMG's standards for a respectful work environment. Qualifications: A minimum of five years of experience in cyber security, network, or general IT operations with in-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform. A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred; relevant certifications such as CISSP and Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer are advantageous. Proven project and operational experience in security monitoring, incident response, and effective implementation of processes and automation. Exceptional communication, collaboration, analytical, and presentation skills to facilitate teamwork and deliver outstanding customer service; skilled in leading discussions in a matrixed environment. Capability to engage in resource planning and project estimation; willingness to work shift schedules as necessary. Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. KPMG offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
