Exciting Opportunity: Early Childhood Speech-Language Pathologist! We are currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist ($58-$60/hour) to support early childhood students ages 3-5 in homes and community preschool settings. We have two assignment opportunities available: one starting on April 6th and running until mid-June, and another starting on May 11th and also running until mid-June. The shorter assignment focuses on evaluations only, primarily in an office with occasional home and community visits, while the longer assignment involves working directly with preschool-age children. Qualifications: Master's Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Oregon state SLP license Role Overview: As an SLP, you will develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. This role offers the unique opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive environment while making a lasting impact on their development. Job Details: Location: Primarily southwest Portland Assignment Dates: April to mid-June Hours: 37.5 per week Setting: Homes and preschools In-person only Key Responsibilities: Manage and organize specialized materials, equipment, and the environment essential to the speech and language programs. Provide educationally related communication interventions for students with speech, language, or hearing disorders across various settings. Assess speech and language skills of students suspected of having communication disorders and collaborate with teachers to develop IEP goals and objectives. Provide resources, modeling strategies, and training to other team members in communication interventions. Communicate regularly about individual student assessment results and progress with involved school staff (both special and general education), parents, and where appropriate, the student.
