Canton TWP, MI Workplace Type: Hybrid Employment Type: Hourly Discover a more connected career Communications Construction Group is looking for a Human Resources Specialist who will be responsible for supporting day-to-day human resources operations and talent acquisition efforts. The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid position. Employee will report to our Canton, MI office approximately two days/week. What you'll doMaintain positions in the recruiting system (periodic job posting refreshes) Assist with posting jobs via external job boards, career sites, state workforce sites, etc Maintain accurate records on applicant status and provide timely responses to applicants Conduct pre-employment drug, DOT and background screenings on all potential new hires Send & track pre-adverse / adverse letters to candidates Maintain & process annual Comcast/Charter background checks & drug screens for Certification. Conduct new hire orientation Respond to the website inquiries and voicemail messages Reconcile pre-employment vendor invoices Ensure CDL Driver employees are in compliance with CDL Clearinghouse Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required. What you'll needBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of experience in HR and/or recruitment Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) Strong understanding of HR best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, Google (Docs/Sheets) Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Why grow your career with us Your career here is more than just a job - it's your pathway to opportunity.
