Department Overview The Senior Technical Solutions Architect is a high-level technical expert crucial to our sales process. Acting as a liaison between the sales team and technical solutions, they leverage extensive product knowledge and industry insights to tailor compelling solutions that meet client needs. This role involves presenting not just a product, but a vision and a comprehensive strategy for resolving client challenges. Job Description The Senior Technical Solutions Architect will provide expertise and support for the US Federal Motorola Solutions Account team, along with the Federal Video Security & Access Control Specialist teams, including Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD). This role focuses on designing high-value solutions utilizing Motorola and third-party technologies in response to customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed requirement reviews and develop compliance matrices Create technical proposal content Compile comprehensive equipment lists (BOM) Support customer meetings Collaborate and offer assistance to the partner community Provide technical show support Deliver product demonstrations to end-users and at trade shows Engage in continuous technical training on both existing and new technologies Explore innovative opportunities with strategic technology partners based on client needs Specific Knowledge/Skills: Bachelor's Degree with at least 7 years of experience in needs analysis and solution design OR 11+ years of experience in the field Engineering, IT, or Computer Science degree or equivalent preferred Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as mandated by government contracts Experience with the Federal Government is preferred Proficient in identifying and articulating customer needs and requirements Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills Strong ability to sell outcomes and capabilities rather than just products Highly motivated team player Experience with Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) Knowledge of telephony protocols such as SIP and H.323 Experience with IP network design and administration Familiarity with multicast IP routing Preferred experience in PBX design Preferred experience with RAVE Mobile Safety Suite Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
