LVN Pediatric Home Health Nurse - West Texas

What We Do: We provide in-home private-duty nursing care for children between the ages of 0 and 20 years old. These children are medically and technologically dependent. Most have many other special medical conditions that require meticulous attention from skilled practitioners. Education/Certification Requirement: Current, unrestricted nursing license approved by the Texas State Board of Nursing Job Type(s): Full-Time, Part-time, and PRN Functions & Responsibilities (includes but is not limited to): Provides exceptional nursing services, including medications, as prescribed by a licensed physician Monitors for potential abuse or neglect situations and follows the regulated reporting guidelines for any suspected issues Monitors all aspects of health and safety within patient's home Submits correct documentation after each shift performed Upholds aspects of HIPAA Maintains medical supplies as needed Available to parents for health-related questions and/or concerns. You'll only be assigned to one location unless otherwise requested by the candidate since PALS Home Health matches you to a family with the goal of long-term placement: Lubbock, TX Area Working days (varies per case): Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday We have immediate openings for weekend nurses and night nurses.
