Lead Cloud Security Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Cloud Security Engineer to join our Architecture team within the Information Security department. In this role, you will drive the engineering and implementation of security solutions essential for enhancing our Firm's security infrastructure. Your focus will be on securing cloud environments through initiatives such as Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), DevSecOps practices (e.g., automated security testing in CI/CD pipelines), and administering Identity and Access Management (IAM/IDM) systems. You'll work closely with the Information Security operations team and business units, ensuring robust security controls across technology infrastructures and cloud platforms. As a key team member, you’ll provide advanced expertise and support to the Information Security Operations team and act as a security advocate. Your guidance will be crucial in balancing security with business needs, ensuring effective technology risk management for safe adoption of cutting-edge technologies. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with key stakeholders to conduct security architecture risk reviews. Design and implement advanced Cloud Security solutions. Enhance the overall Information Security technology roadmap. Provide recommendations to improve the Information Security program and policies. Create and sustain Information Security standards across all technologies. Offer guidance to vendors for technology selection to meet evolving security requirements. Execute threat and vulnerability management processes for infrastructure. Upgrade security systems by identifying gaps and implementing enhancements. Establish metrics for evaluating information security controls and processes. Respond to security incidents, determining malfunctions and remediation steps. Serve as a senior point of contact for incident investigations and security events. Lead the technology selection process, from requirements gathering to deployment. Support audits to ensure compliance with internal and industry standards. Provide consulting on security-related issues across the firm. Identify and implement improvement initiatives collaboratively with peers. Manage multiple projects using formal planning techniques. Availability for evening and weekend work as needed, with potential travel required. Qualifications: High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Minimum of five years in a professional technical Information Technology role, with three years of hands-on experience in Information Security and Cloud Security exposure. Cloud Security certifications such as CISSP, Microsoft Azure AZ-104 & AZ-500, CCSP, CCSK, or CPT/CEH are desired. Certification in SailPoint Identity and Access Management (IAM/IDM) is a plus.
