Job Description

Position: Network Engineer - Testing Specialist Become a vital member of our innovative Products and Services Readiness team, where we focus on testing and launching advanced Radio technology for telecom operators. We are on the lookout for a skilled Network Engineer to take on the role of Feature Test Engineer. In this position, you will work within the Ericsson radio lab, gaining critical experience with Ericsson's radio products (both software and hardware) through thorough product testing. You will play a key role in the product acceptance process for our prestigious customer, T-Mobile, and collaborate with the latest radio technologies set to be deployed in large-scale networks. Your main goal will be to validate the functionality of our cutting-edge radio products, proactively identifying and resolving faults before the wide-scale rollout. This role requires strong collaboration with various Ericsson teams, including development and customer units, as well as direct interaction with clients. Moreover, you could have the chance to contribute to exciting automation projects aimed at optimizing and accelerating testing processes. Key Responsibilities: Integrate, certify, and implement 4G LTE/5G technology in customer lab facilities and pilot market applications. Showcase new functionalities and both software and hardware capabilities. Conduct proof of concepts with customers for pre-commercial products and next-generation Radio access technology equipment. Support Ericsson's New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives, including integration, configuration, feature validation, troubleshooting, and testing for Baseband Units (BBU) and Radios across various technologies and bands. Resolve technical issues, serving as a reliable point of contact for the Customer Project Manager, clients, and the Ericsson organization throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in lab testing, collaborating closely with the delivery manager and customers to define project scope, develop resource plans, and establish timelines. Execute the Test Object List (TOL). Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in existing networks. Prepare and present comprehensive reports for customer acceptance.
