Position Summary: In this role, you will perform imaging procedures efficiently and safely while ensuring a respectful experience for patients. Position Requirements: Radiologic Technology diploma or degree from an accredited institution; compliance with CE requirements. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire. Preference for at least one year of experience in a clinical setting; however, training is available. Familiarity with various x-ray equipment and computer systems; specific training will be provided for tools used at Williamson Health. This role includes strict adherence to safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all. Key Responsibilities: Verify patient identification and physician orders for accuracy. Assess female patients for pregnancy risks and document appropriately. Inquire about allergies and medical history for patients receiving contrast media. Implement radiation safety measures and adhere to ALARA principles. Ensure that patients are treated with dignity and respect during their care. Demonstrate teamwork and leadership during challenging situations. Participate in additional duties during downtime to maintain efficiency. Consistently provide high-quality imaging studies.
