Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Mammography Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 04/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience for an outpatient breast imaging position requiring an active WA license and ARRT (M) certification. Responsibilities Outpatient breast imaging clinic located in a medical office building on campus Performs screening and diagnostic mammography services for adult and geriatric patients Procedures include 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening mammograms Hologic equipment experience preferred Epic EMR required Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Day off during the week (typically Tuesday or Wednesday) varies based on unit needs - flexibility required Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within Washington State First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted Former permanent staff from non-Swedish Providence facilities must have been separated for at least 3 months before being eligible for a travel contract Former permanent staff must not reside within 50 miles of the facility to be eligible Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; excessive RTO requests may impact eligibility Any RTO requests must be disclosed upfront - requests made after submission or offer may be denied Orientation is 8 hours Scrubs of any color are acceptable Requirements Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience Active Washington State license required ARRT and ARRT (M) certifications required Current BLS required Proficiency with Epic EMR required Experience with 3D, digital, diagnostic, and screening mammography required Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting SSN and DOB required for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-675798.
