Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 04/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech Job Details: Work 4x10 hour shifts Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted with 3+ years of experience Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT, RCIS (either specialty certification accepted) Must be comfortable with conscious sedation and circulating procedures Experience with Cerner charting system required Call required minimum 2 days per week and every 3rd weekend 40 hours of orientation provided Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays Floating is 100% required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby Work with specialized equipment including Acist injector, Siemens C-arm, Philips C-arm, Medrad power injector, Rotopro, Diamondback, IVUS, OCT, Shock wave, Rampart, Pneumbra, Inari Perform cardiac procedures including LHC, RHC, balloon pumps, temp pacer, perm pacer/defib, pericardial effusion, STEMI call Perform IR procedures including venous access, drains placement, GI tube insertion, PE, DVTs, Tips, PV, Fistula work, UFEs, prostate embos, GI/Post Partum/other internal bleeds Care for patients of all age groups: adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics Work in 2-room unit with approximately 8 visits per day Two supervisor references required License must be in hand prior to start date Facility: This healthcare facility features a comprehensive cardiac and interventional radiology catheterization laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment and technology. The facility provides advanced cardiovascular and interventional procedures with specialized support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretarial support. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes modern medical equipment to support complex cardiac and interventional radiology procedures.
