Electrician - Foreman

Job Type Full-time Description Report To: Project Manager Primary Objective of Position: Responsible for supervising and coordinating all electrical activities on projects, from planning and installation to maintenance and repair. With a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, excellent leadership abilities, and effective communication skills, the Electrical Foreman will guide the team to complete projects efficiently, meet deadlines, and maintain a safe working environment. Essential Functions: Plans, supervises, and performs all phases of installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of electrical systems and service work in new or remodeled facilities. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of electrical equipment installations. Detect needed repairs buildings, grounds, and equipment following established inspection procedures. Perform cost estimates and projections for electrical projects. Review electrical and contract specifications and performance criteria. Utilize extensive electrical knowledge to troubleshoot complex issues, providing effective solutions and resolving problems promptly. Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, promoting and enforcing safe work practices among team members. Requirements Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent degree. Years experience as a Journeyman/Supervisor Required Skills: Proven written and verbal communication. Strong ability to interpret blueprints.
