Position Details Position: Dental Hygienist Schedule: Full-Time (Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Pay Range: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour, with bonus opportunities Perks & Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) options, complimentary continuing education courses, and more! Duties & Responsibilities Provide outstanding patient care with a warm and compassionate chairside manner. Educate patients about oral hygiene, dental health, and treatment options to promote long-term care. Review and update patient health histories, medications, and conditions; accurately document all findings in patient records. Perform a variety of hygiene procedures, including diagnostic X-rays, prophylaxis, non-surgical periodontal therapy, and co-diagnosis with the doctor. Complete periodontal charting according to clinical guidelines. Ensure strict patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Administer local anesthetic when necessary. Conduct polishing, fluoride treatments, and oral cancer screenings. Utilize intraoral cameras to improve patient education and treatment planning. Clean, sterilize, and prepare operatories and equipment according to proper protocols. Collaborate effectively with the dental team and assist with front office tasks as needed. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program. Licensure: Current Registered Dental Hygienist license. Certifications: Current CPR certification required. Exceptional communication and patient engagement skills. Positive attitude and professional demeanor. Strong teamwork and organizational abilities. Detail-oriented with good manual dexterity. Proficient with dental software and technology. Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
