2nd Shift Aggregate Maintenance Laborer

Piqua Materials, a leading producer of crushed limestone, is seeking dependable, safety-focused, and mechanically inclined individuals to join our maintenance team. This is a full-time opportunity for those who enjoy working outdoors, using their hands, and being part of a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities Perform general plant maintenance and equipment repairs. Must be able to weld/fabricate as needed. Complete daily preventative maintenance and safety inspections. Troubleshoot and replace screens, conveyor belts, and system components. Use hand and power tools, including cutting, grinding, and impact tools. Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow company safety policies. Assist with mobile and stationary equipment operation when needed. Core Skills and Competencies Mechanical Aptitude: Familiarity with belts, pulleys, bearings, and industrial equipment. Problem Solving: Ability to assess and repair mechanical issues efficiently. Attention to Detail: Thorough inspections and documentation of maintenance tasks. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with team members and supervisors. Physical Endurance: Capable of lifting 50 lbs, working in all weather conditions, and climbing ladders and stairs over 24 feet. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Proven work ethic with a willingness to learn and grow within the company. Previous experience in aggregate, limestone, or heavy industrial environments is a plus.
