Job Title: Substitute Nurse Reports to: Campus Principal Dept./School: Gonzales ISD Schools Full Job Description Gonzales Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of substitute nurse. The appointee will report directly to the Principal and will be responsible for performing duties when the regular school nurse is absent. The person will work closely with students, parents, and campus staff. Qualifications: The Substitute Nurse must be a graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program, and hold a valid license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Texas. One year of experience post-licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN) is preferred.
