Strata Group is a fast-growing family of real estate and real estate-adjacent companies. As our organization continues to expand, we are seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Bookkeeper to support financial operations across all Strata divisions. This role is essential to maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring smooth back-office operations, and partnering with leadership to keep all entities aligned and running efficiently. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys the complexity of multi-entity bookkeeping, and takes pride in producing precise, error-free work. As the Bookkeeper, you will manage daily financial transactions, maintain ledgers, process invoices, track expenses, and ensure all financial entries are completed accurately and on time. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and the confidence to collaborate with various teams across the organization. You’ll work in an office environment using financial software to streamline processes, support workflow efficiency, and uphold the integrity of all financial data. Responsibilities: Financial Management & Accounting • Maintain accurate financial records for multiple entities, including A/R, A/P, reconciliations, and general ledger management. • Record daily transactions across real estate, construction, services, and other divisions. • Process invoices, vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and expense tracking. • Complete monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and company statements. • Prepare standardized monthly financial reports for leadership. Cross-Department Collaboration • Work closely with Operations to ensure timely and accurate financial entries. • Support project-related reporting for flips, builds, and renovations (costs, budgets, tracking). • Coordinate with CPA and CFO-level support for quarterly and year-end financial preparation. Process & Compliance • Maintain organized digital filing systems for receipts, billing, payables, and statements. • Assist with refining internal processes, SOPs, and financial workflows as the company scales. • Ensure compliance with company policies and best practices across all Strata entities. Qualifications: • Familiarity with GAAP and financial reporting • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience (multi-entity preferred). • Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks Online required). • Strong understanding of A/P, A/R, reconciliations, and financial reporting. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to manage competing deadlines in a multi-business environment. • Strong communication and organizational skills. • Experience with real estate, construction, or service-based industries is a plus.
