Job Description Job Title: Business Analyst - Project Lead Location: Columbia, SC (Hybrid - 2 days onsite/week; may change to fully onsite with little notice) Duration: 12 Months (No extension) Schedule: Full-Time 40 hrs/week 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Position Type: Staff Augmentation (Hourly) Key Dates • Submission Deadline: January 30, 2026 - 5:00 PM EST • Projected Start Date: March 2, 2026 Pay Rate • Max Rate: $51 -$56/hour Position Overview The State of South Carolina is seeking a Business Analyst - Project Lead to support the PACSS Team in redesigning financial systems. This is a new role anticipated to be active for up to one year. Responsibilities • Lead business analysis efforts for financial system redesign. • Conduct stakeholder interviews and translate requirements into workflows and system enhancements. • Analyze financial operations including receipts, distributions, disbursements, recoupment, and reconciliation. • Perform SQL querying and data analysis to support reporting and system improvements. • Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure successful delivery. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree • 5+ years as a Business Analyst • 5+ years working with Child Support systems • 5+ years supporting financial operations (receipts, distribution, disbursement, recoupment, reconciliation) • 5+ years in workflow design and system enhancements • 5+ years conducting stakeholder interviews • 5+ years with SQL querying Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Microsoft TFS and Microsoft Test Manager • Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies • Degree preference in Finance or IT Candidate Requirements • Must be a current South Carolina resident (no relocation allowed) • Security clearance required • Hybrid work location compliance required Sunshine Enterprise USA is an "Equal Opportunity Employer-Minorities, Females, Veterans and Disabled Persons"
