Nurse Manager of Critical Care (Medical ICU)Location: Dallas, TXPay Range: $84,849 - $127,274 (based on experience)Bonus: Case by caseRelocation Assistance: Case by caseShift: DaysUnit Size: 16 bedsFTEs Managed: 45Position Summary Responsible for planning, organizing, delegating, directing, negotiating, and evaluating services delivered by the Adult Medical ICU. Collaborates closely with other department leadership to ensure nursing care is compliant with recognized standards and best practices. Develops and recommends policies, procedures, and programs aimed at improving quality, safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of patient care within the ICU. Maintains effective communication among team and with leadership. Acts as a quality and regulatory champion within the unit. Fosters a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Qualifications At least 2 years of recent (within the last year) acute care leadership experience in Critical Care (preferably in an ICU management role, not charge nurse alone). Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; advanced degree preferred. Current State of Texas RN license or compact state RN license. Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or Red Cross). CCRN and/or CNRN certification preferred. Strong knowledge of care experience tactics, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
