SAP Business Object Data Services Technical Consultant

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills • Strong hands-on experience with SAP BODS 4.x. • Expertise in ETL concepts, data quality, and transformation logic. • Strong understanding of SAP ECC/S4 HANA, SAP BW, and HANA data structures. • Proficiency in SQL (Oracle, SQL Server), data modeling, and performance tuning. • Experience with IDOCs, RFCs, SLT, and SAP integration scenarios. • Knowledge of Data Migration methodologies (LTMC, BODS, LSMW optionally). • Familiarity with versioning, release processes, and documentation standards. Roles & Responsibilities Data Migration • Execute end to end data migration activities including extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation and loading. • Develop technical specifications, mapping sheets, and load templates. • Perform reconciliation, pre load and post load validations, and perform error handling. Performance & Quality • Diagnose ETL performance issues and implement tuning strategies. • Ensure adherence to data governance, data quality standards, and best practices. Documentation & Support • Produce technical design documents, unit test cases, and operational guides. • Provide production support, resolve defects, and collaborate across global teams.
