Quality LabTechnician

Roles & Responsibilities General Duties:Check ROH availability and order as necessary,(peptone; dyes, & chemicals) Maintain inventory control of reagents, supplements Provide support with inventory control of reference standards Bio-hazardous Waste handling Restocking Prepare various types of Media - Agars, Broths Maintain inventory of prep area supplies - tubes,glassware, etc. Pull materials to be weighed - staging Wash glassware Run Autoclaves and pH meters Follow prep sheets for exact weighing and preparing of media Monthly water bath & pH meters maintenance maintain stock media and Water blanks Keep Prep lab GMP compliant and audit ready Experience Required 1-2 years' experience preferred Skills & Certifications Knowledge / skills:Must be able to work independently and as part of a team Must follow written and verbal communication and be able to communicate effectively with others. Must have good organizational skills. Must be capable of thinking independently. Operates under minimal supervision and schedules own work. Questions to be referred to Microbiologists,Group Leaders or Supervisor Must be able to handle a fast paced work environment Eligibilities & qualifications Associates degree or BS/BA in related field required. Typical degree in Biological Sciences and/or Microbiology
