About the Role This is a hands-on growth role for someone who wants to build an app's user base from zero - not inherit a polished playbook. You'll own organic app growth end to end, using social, UGC, and creator-led strategies to drive real installs, activation, and engagement. This is a foundational hire, meaning you'll help define what works, what doesn't, and how growth is measured moving forward. This role is best suited for a doer, not a manager. You'll be creating content, testing ideas, reaching out to creators, and reviewing results daily. If you enjoy fast feedback loops, experimentation, and clear ownership, this role offers meaningful impact and visibility. If you're looking for brand-only work, a large team, or a highly structured environment, this likely won't be the right fit - and that's intentional. What You'll Be DoingYou'll be responsible for growing the mobile app through organic and earned channels, with a strong focus on execution and iteration.Your work will include: Driving app installs and active users through social, UGC, community, and creator partnerships Personally testing early-stage growth ideas such as ambassador programs, referral loops, challenges, and event-based activations Owning social channels across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, X, and Reddit Creating short-form content and UGC prompts that resonate with sports, concerts, and live-event audiences Identifying and engaging micro-creators, superfans, and niche communities Developing creator briefs and tracking performance tied to installs, activation, and usage Monitoring core growth metrics including installs, conversion rate, retention, and engagement Using lightweight tools such as Firebase, native platform analytics, and spreadsheets to understand what's working Iterating quickly by doubling down on what works and stopping what doesn't Documenting repeatable wins and helping scale successful tactics over time The Team & Environment You'll join a lean, execution-focused team that values speed, curiosity, and ownership.
