Position Summary: When you join Babcock Power, you will be part of a team that innovates and designs sustainable solutions in the power generation industry for over 100 years. Our goal is to extend the life and improve the performance of existing boilers. To support this goal, our manufacturing site, Boiler Tube of America (BTA) manufactures pressure boiler components and auxiliary industrial boiler parts for the power generation industry. We are currently seeking a Plant Project Manager for our location in Lyman, SC. This is a great opportunity to lead the manufacturing operations of a highly reputable company with a great team. POSITION SUMMARY: Overseeing the planning, implementation, and completion of projects within BTA. Their primary role is to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Essential Responsibilities: Essential Responsibilities: Developing project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines and resource requirements. Assembling and leading project teams, assigning tasks, and setting clear roles and responsibilities. Tracking project progress, identifying potential risks or obstacles, and implementing corrective actions as needed to keep the project on track. Facilitating communication among BTA team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties to ensure everyone is informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle. Managing project budgets, monitoring expenses, and making adjustments as necessary to stay within budget constraints. Ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and satisfy client or stakeholder requirements. Identifying potential risks to project success and developing strategies to mitigate or minimize their impact. Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Job Requirements/Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management or related field. MBA a plus 5+ years of experience in project manager role Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control techniques to monitor project expenditures, optimize resource utilization, and ensure projects remain within budget. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders including clients, vendors, and team members. Capability to align project objectives with broader organizational goals, anticipate future needs, and develop strategic plans to achieve long-term success.
