Job Description

Test Automation Engineer, Mindlance Inc. (Union, NJ) Work in the areas of Business process, requirements, functional analysis, and maintenance of Web based and API applications and change management functions. Writing & executing test cases, reporting & tracking defect, preparing test report and build test automation suites using automation tools like Client UFT/QTP, Client Load runner and Selenium web driver. Designing and implementing Selenium Automation Frameworks using Data Driven, Hybrid, Page Object Model (POM). Building Selenium Automation frameworks using Junit/TestNG. Requirements analysis and automated test cases/script development. Applying Testing Methodologies, creating Test Plans, Executing Test Scripts, Automation of Test Cases, Defect Tracking and Report Generation. Designing Test Cases, Test Scenarios, Test Scripts and Test reports of manual and automated tests. Support product rollouts across multiple code releases, ensuring smooth deployments and minimal downtime. Manage end-to-end release cycles, coordinating with development, QA, and operations teams to deliver high-quality software. Collaborate with product and development teams to ensure QA alignment with business goals and smooth implementation of technology changes. Work with developers to reproduce the bugs and to resolve usability issues during UAT. Create Regression Document to track and report testing activities during each phase of testing, including testing results, test case coverage, required resources, logged defects and their status, performance baselines. Participate in Stand-up meeting, walkthrough meeting, weekly automation meeting with all other QA, weekly assessment meetings with business analysts and developers. Collaborate with agile team members in a dynamic environment. Deliver creative and reliable technology solutions to meet functional requirements. Develop robust, fault-tolerant applications capable of 24x7x365 availability. Contribute to the development of web-based, distributed, and cloud computing applications. Work on quality assurance, particularly with distributed applications through the full development and operational lifecycle. Hands-on with Web Applications, RESTful APIs, and testing methodologies like TDD and BDD. Work with tools such as Selenium, Swagger, Postman, JMeter, Cucumber, and Rest-Assured. Familiar with the Java Spring Technology Stack and Pivotal Cloud Foundry, including tools like BitBucket, Maven, Bamboo, MongoDB, and Kafka. Interact with product managers, business analysts, and developers to define and execute test plans and test cases. Involve in Agile/Scrum development methodology. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study. 3 years' experience in job offered or related position with similar duties. Special Skills: 2 years' experience required with Selenium, WebDriver, Java, Test NG, BDD (Cucumber), POM, Maven, Git, Jenkins, Postman, SQL, Salesforce. Where all such experience can be acquired concurrently.
