Human Resource Generalist

ABF Security is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support a fast-paced security operations environment. This role manages day-to-day HR functions, ensures compliance with employment laws and licensing requirements, and partners with leadership to support workforce planning, employee relations, and performance management. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruitment for technicians, sales, and office staff Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and onboarding documentation Support employee relations, coaching, and performance improvement plans Ensure compliance with FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and OSHA requirements Oversee workers' compensation and return-to-work processes Administer benefits (health, 401(k), PTO) and assist with payroll support Track HR metrics including turnover, absenteeism, and labor costs Support training, engagement, and retention initiatives Qualifications 3+ years of HR experience required Service, construction, or security industry experience preferred SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance Ability to support both field and office employees Strong communication and conflict resolution skills Core Competencies Integrity • Accountability • Problem-Solving • Operational Awareness If you thrive in a service-driven, growth-focused environment and want to make a direct operational impact, we encourage you to apply.
