Job Summary: The IT and Network Specialist works across departments to support and maintain the company's internal software and hardware systems. The Specialist will also coordinate with outside support vendors for IT help desk needs, technology maintenance and planning, and will assist the Data Operations team with IT oversight of the secure data warehouse environment for the Colorado All Payer Claims Database. This position is also responsible for ongoing cyber security planning, monitoring, maintenance, and support. Hybrid Work Model This position is based in Denver, Colorado. Because CIVHC operates under a hybrid work model with a requirement of at least one in-office day per week (unless otherwise approved), candidates must reside within a commutable distance to the Denver metro area. Limited relocation assistance may be available for out-of-state candidates who intend to relocate to the Denver area. Duties/Responsibilities/Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. IT Help Desk and Troubleshooting Communication with staff and vendors to resolve technical problems. Maintenance and planning for existing software and hardware systems, including software license renewals and workstation inventory, replacement, and recycling. Cybersecurity oversight, including maintenance, planning, and developing training materials. Required Skills/Abilities: Expert with all Microsoft 365 Business applications, including MS Exchange and SharePoint. Expert with Adobe Pro. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Ability to evaluate, learn, and adapt new software tools for changing business needs. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a computer-science-related field. Four years' experience accepted in place of a degree. At least two years' related experience required. Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certification required. Understanding of health care privacy regulations preferred. Physical Requirements Primarily computer-based work with extended periods of sitting, typing, and concentration. May occasionally require light lifting of office materials. Sitting for extended periods of time. Using a computer and keyboard for typing and data entry. Reaching and stretching to access files or equipment. Lifting and carrying light objects such as papers or office supplies. Walking short distances within the office environment. Operating office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines. Occasionally bending or stooping to retrieve items from lower shelves or cabinets. Maintaining good posture to prevent discomfort or strain. Using a telephone or headset for communication. Ability to focus and concentrate for prolonged periods. Target hire date: 04/26Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 annually based on experience, education, and internal equity. In addition, this position may be eligible for an organization-wide bonus if certain metrics are met by CIVHC.
