Occupational Therapy Assistant Job Details Job Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) - Travel Assignment Location: Humansville, MO 65674 (Missouri healthcare jobs) Facility Setting: Hospital - Occupational Therapy Unit Assignment Type: Travel healthcare contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 2/23/2026 - End: 5/25/2026) Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (start time between 6AM and 10AM; flexible and consistent schedule) Weekly Estimated Pay: $1310-$1410 Guaranteed Hours per Week: 40 (Guaranteed Work Week) On-Call: No call required Weekends: No weekends unless a holiday falls within M-F (make-up hours permitted) Occupational Therapy Assistant Qualifications Active Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in Missouri Minimum 1 year of OTA experience required (new graduates with Level II fieldwork experience are encouraged to apply) Experience in Long Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings preferred Knowledge of NBCOT, AOTA, and Missouri State practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics OTA Responsibilities in Hospital Setting Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and utilize supportive/assistive devices as part of the rehabilitation plan Monitor and assess patient progress, communicating with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatment plans as needed Document all regulatory and clinical information in the electronic health record system and maintain accurate patient records Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review, and rehabilitation meetings as required Provide consultation and education to patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers Support and supervise occupational therapy students under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and quality care Apply now to join our healthcare team as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Humansville, Missouri, and take the next step in your travel healthcare career!
