Modern Technology Solutions Incorporated (MTSI) is seeking a motivated and skillful R&D Scientist/Engineer with expertise in hypersonic computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to support critical projects within the Department of War (DoW) and Intelligence Community (IC). The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of hypersonic aerothermodynamics and related modeling techniques with a proven ability to model, simulate, and analyze hypersonic systems. Required Qualifications:U.S. CitizenMaster's Degree (or Bachelor's degree with 4 years related experience) in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or MathematicsMinimum of 4 years of relevant experience in DoW or IC programsActive TS/SCI with willingness to complete a CI PolygraphStrong knowledge of hypersonic aerothermodynamic phenomenologyProficiency in using high-fidelity CFD modeling applicationsProven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced R&D environmentStrong communication skills capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersTeamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and departments, while also being self-sufficient when needed Desired Qualifications:Advanced experience in GEOINT processing research and developmentExtensive experience with academic, government, or commercial CFD tools and workflowsExpertise in modeling and simulating advanced foreign weapon systems' aerodynamic performance and signatures6+ years of relevant experience in the fieldMaster's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics with coursework and/or research in the fields of hypersonics, physical gas dynamics, or numerical methodsActive TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph #LI-AC1 #LI-Onsite Interesting Work: Our co-workers support some of the most important and critical programs to our national defense and security.
