Job Description: Business Development and Social Media Position Summary A part-time (10-20 hours/week) role focused on driving awareness via social media and other marketing methods, catering sales, building partnerships, and increasing Playa Bowls' presence in the community. The associate acts as the face of Playa Bowls at local businesses, schools, gyms, hospitals, sporting events, residential communities and other related community events. Key Responsibilities Manage social meeting and marketing initiatives for Playa Bowls Cumming. Promote Playa Bowls catering to businesses, gyms, schools, hospitals, and residential communities. Achieving a monthly target of catering Build partnerships with PTAs, youth sports leagues, fitness studios, and Northside Hospital Forsyth. Engage emerging apartments and condos for resident events. Attend community events, health fairs, and business mixers. Track outreach activity, leads, and conversions. Represent Playa Bowls at festivals, sporting events, and community gatherings. Qualifications Outgoing, friendly, and confident. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Experience with social media platforms Experience in sales, outreach, or events preferred. Passion for healthy living and the Playa Bowls brand. Compensation Model This is an hourly and commission-based role. Base Pay Competitive hourly compensation for a part-time schedule (10-20 hours per week), based on experience and qualifications. Commission Structure In addition to the hourly rate, the role includes a tiered commission on net catering sales for new clients. Commissions are paid on accounts for a defined period following the initial order. The commission structure may vary depending on the agreed hourly rate and performance level. Additional Incentives Quarterly performance bonuses tied to catering sales milestones Bonuses for each new qualifying account secured (e.g., PTA, gym, hospital, apartment community) Additional bonuses for securing large catering events at sporting events or hospital departments
