Production Worker

Job Full Description We are seeking production associates with our client, a manufacturing company located in Fitchburg! These are great temp-to-hire openings, with the opportunity to get in with a company that is experiencing great growth. Overview: Performs various assembly and machine operation tasks that includes laminating, slitting, die-cutting and assembly work with various materials including foams, rubbers, metals, graphite, cork-fibers, and fiberglass. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. Duties and Responsibilities: • Sets-up and operate any shop machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines • Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, Job Orders, routers and diagrams to select dies, position, and secure machinery • Adheres to operating procedures/instructions • Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks per specification to run job orders accurately and maximize productivity • Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisors • Communicate process and quality improvements via CPAR system • Maintain a clean and safe work station • Accurately record labor and material usage in ERP system • Other responsibilities as assigned by management Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Ability to read and perform basic math skills including counting • Ability to use various tools including tape measure, dial caliper, and other hand tools • Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken • Basic reading skills for understanding drawings, Job Orders, and specs • Able to follow directions • Strong manual dexterity Hours: 1st shift: 6:00am-4:30pm Mon-Thur 2nd shift: 3:30pm - 2am Mon-Thur Overtime required at times on Fridays Pay: $18/hr.+ for 1st shift $19/hr.+ for 2nd shift Interested candidates can apply several ways: Call 608-663-1940 and speak with a Recruiter for immediate consideration Submit an application Download our app through your app store and submit an application Send resumes to Madison West (Fitchburg), WI 3236 2980 Cahill Main Suite 106 Fitchburg, WI 53711
