Maintenance Technician Vehicle Maintenance & Safety Compliance Coordinate routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotation, brake inspections, and scheduled service appointments. Ensure all vehicles stay compliant with state emissions testing requirements, monitoring due dates, and scheduling appointments accordingly. Verify that vehicle insurance, registration, and inspection documents are accurate and up to date for all fleet vehicles. Maintain and review monthly mileage logs for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation of vehicle usage. Conduct routine inclement weather readiness checks, ensuring vehicles and facilities have necessary seasonal supplies (e.g., ice melt, shovels, wiper fluid, emergency kits). Additions to "Other General Duties" Assist with the coordination of vehicle maintenance and emissions scheduling for all fleet vehicles. Monitor insurance documentation for all vehicles and report lapses or renewal needs immediately. Maintain a monthly log review system to ensure accurate tracking of vehicle mileage and usage.
