We have multiple openings available to assist with our Fit For Life Swim Clinic. This program runs from March to April 2026, offering approximately 6 weeks of temporary, after-school work. JOB SUMMARY Maintains a safe pool environment and supports the swimming coach in the delivery of water safety and swimming instruction for elementary and middle school students. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains a safe environment both on the pool deck and in the pool. The lifeguard is responsible for student water-related safety and assisting students in the pool. Supports the site swim coach in delivering water safety instruction to elementary and middle school students. Assists with equipment and pool maintenance. Communicates clearly, concisely, and effectively, both orally and in writing, with the administrative staff, professional and support staff, students, parents, and community. Provides backup as needed to other staff members/volunteers in their absence. Performs other duties as assigned.
