Title: Government Property Specialist Location: Richmond, KYClearance: No Citizenship Requirement: Yes, US citizenship required. Req #: 4019 (3237)Salary: $50,000 - $61,500Expected Contract Length: 1 year with potential for extension or renewal.This BGAPP position falls under the scope of the McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act of 1965 (SCA). The SCA requires BGCAPP to provide employees with benefits and wages no less than the amounts the Department of Labor has established for the location and classification in which the employee will be working. • Must be trained and certified in the operation of Forklifts/personnel lifts (training provided) • Able to lift 50 pounds • Valid US driver’s license This BGAPP position falls under the scope of the McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act of 1965 (SCA). The SCA requires BGCAPP to provide employees with benefits and wages no less than the amounts the Department of Labor has established for the location and classification in which the employee will be working. BGCAPP is subject to Army Regulations (AR50-6 Chemical Surety Program and AR190-59 Unescorted Access Program) which govern persons performing work under the Chemical Personnel Reliability Program (CPRP) and Unescorted Access Program (UAP). Eligibility to be placed in a CPRP or UAP position requires U.S. citizenship. Employees must favorably complete a series of screenings to include but not limited to: a National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC), security investigation, drug/alcohol testing, and medical examination. BGCAPP operates on a 24/7 schedule. This position may be required to work a schedule of rotating shifts including nights, weekends, or holidays. All employees are subject to and agree to random drug and alcohol testing as a condition of continued employment for the duration of their assignment. Respiratory screening and the ability to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) may be required for this position. The ability to obtain/maintain access to the Blue Grass Army Depot is required. Role: Assists in the physical count and disposition of project materials as approved by project management and directed by Procurement supervision. Prepares and maintains inventory control records. Must be proficient in following direction and paying close attention to details. Enter excess cases in PIEE system for disposition by the GPA.
