About Autonomize AI Autonomize AI is a Series A healthcare AI company building the agentic infrastructure that automates the most complex administrative workflows in healthcare - prior authorization, utilization management, care management, claims, and payment integrity. We serve three of the top five U.S. health enterprises and are growing fast. This is not a company doing pilots. We are in production, at scale, with the largest payers and providers in the country. The Mission Healthcare administration costs too much, moves too slowly, and extracts value from a system that can't afford it. We believe AI - deployed correctly, at scale - can take 300 to 400 basis points of administrative cost out of the healthcare system. That's not a marketing claim. It's a number we are building toward, account by account, workflow by workflow, in partnership with the most sophisticated health enterprises in the country. If transforming healthcare is your personal mission, this is where you do it. The Role We are looking for a Managing Director, Enterprise Value Creation - a senior, hands-on advisor who gets close to our clients, earns their confidence, and helps them do something genuinely difficult: use AI to fundamentally change how their business operates. Think of this as a senior partner engagement model, not a customer success function. You will carry a portfolio of strategic accounts the way a partner at a top consulting firm carries a client roster - with deep knowledge of each business, a long-term view of where value can be created, and the credibility to drive change at the highest levels of the organization. You will spend real time inside client organizations - understanding their economics, mapping their operations, and building relationships that go well beyond the immediate deployment. Your job is to identify where AI moves the needle on the metrics that matter most: growing revenue, reducing administrative cost, and helping leadership manage the organizational change that transformation demands. You are not a vendor. You are not a project manager. You are the person a health enterprise COO or provider CFO calls when they want a candid, informed perspective from someone who knows their business and has their interests at heart. Key ResponsibilitiesRun a Partner-Level Client Portfolio Own a portfolio of 5-10 of Autonomize's most strategic enterprise relationships. Manage them the way a senior consulting partner manages engagements - with a deep understanding of the client's business priorities, a clear point of view on where value lies, and the presence and credibility to operate at the executive level across clinical, operational, financial, and technology functions. Diagnose & Prioritize Value Go deep on each client's business - their cost structure, revenue drivers, operational bottlenecks, and strategic pressures. Build a rigorous view of where AI creates the most leverage: accelerating prior auth decisions to improve cash flow, reducing administrative overhead across claims or care management, or augmenting clinical teams to improve outcomes without adding headcount. Build the business case. Pressure-test it. Make it actionable. Lead Change, Not Just Technology Adoption Transformation fails when organizations aren't ready for it. You will work with client leadership to build the internal alignment, change management capability, and organizational readiness needed to make AI deployments stick. That means navigating resistance, coaching internal champions, managing competing agendas, and keeping senior sponsors engaged and accountable - the same work a partner does on any major transformation engagement. Be the Bridge Between Business and Platform Serve as the connective tissue between your clients' business priorities and Autonomize's capabilities. You don't need to be an engineer, but you need to be fluent enough to translate - to set realistic expectations, sequence deployments for early wins, and help clients understand not just what the platform does, but what it means for their business. Own the Value Story Track outcomes rigorously. Measure what's changed. Build the evidence base that connects Autonomize deployments to concrete business results - cost savings, throughput improvements, revenue impact, workforce augmentation. Your clients should be able to walk into a board meeting and articulate the ROI. Your job is to make sure they can. Expand Reach Through Thought Leadership The best partners don't just serve clients - they shape how the market thinks. You will publish original content on the operational realities of AI in healthcare, host executive roundtables and client forums that bring leaders together around shared challenges, and represent Autonomize at industry events. This isn't a marketing exercise. It's how you build the kind of trusted reputation that draws new relationships to you and compounds your impact beyond any single engagement. Mentor Teams & Build the Practice This starts as a senior individual contributor role, but the long-term trajectory is to build a practice. Initially, you'll mentor Autonomize's client-facing teams - coaching them on engagement management, executive communication, and how to earn trust in complex healthcare organizations. Over time, you'll help shape how we hire, develop, and organize the people who do this work, building the Enterprise Value Creation function into a defining capability of the company. Shape Autonomize from the Field What you learn in the field is some of the most valuable intelligence inside the company. Feed it back. Your observations on client needs, market dynamics, and product gaps will directly influence how Autonomize builds, prices, and goes to market. Qualifications15+ years in healthcare with direct exposure to payer and/or provider operations (operator, consultant, internal strategist, or forward-deployed advisor). 10-15+ years in top-tier consulting/advisory with a serious healthcare practice (e.g., McKinsey, Deloitte, Accenture, Huron, Guidehouse, Optum Advisory, etc.) with partner-level operating maturity. Proven track record leading multi-stakeholder transformation programs with measurable business outcomes. Demonstrated ability to build trusted SVP/C-suite relationships across multiple engagements. Strong, practical fluency in AI/automation in healthcare operations-what's possible now, what's not, and how to deploy responsibly. Exceptional executive communication: clear, direct, credible in any room. Willingness to travel ~40-50% to be present with clients. Preferred Qualifications Experience driving transformation across UM/CM, prior auth, claims, payment integrity, or provider RCM. Published thought leadership, speaking engagements, or experience building executive communities Experience with AI-enabled operating model redesign (governance, workforce design, workflow re-architecture). Background working with large national payers or top health systems in enterprise-scale environments. What This Role Is Not Not quota-carrying sales (accounts expand because they succeed). Not passive advisory. Not CS measured by NPS and renewals alone. This is senior partner-level transformation -intellectually demanding, relationship-intensive, and consequential. What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months) Portfolio ownership: trusted advisor across 5-10 enterprise accounts with SVP/C-suite relationships. Measurable value delivery: every account has a documented, quantified ROI story. Relationship depth: executives seek your counsel beyond the immediate deployment. Organic expansion: adoption grows through ROI and new use cases-without a quota-driven approach. Market leadership: substantive content + executive forums that elevate Autonomize's credibility. Team development: you mentor and level-up client-facing teams; you help shape the practice. Why This Role, Why Now We are at an inflection point. The tools now exist to take hundreds of basis points of administrative cost out of the healthcare system - not incrementally, but structurally. Autonomize is in production with the largest health enterprises in the country, and we are just beginning to understand the full scope of what's possible. This role exists because realizing that potential requires more than great technology. It requires someone who can sit across from the people running these organizations, understand what they're actually dealing with, and help them use AI to change it. What We Offer A chance to make a real impact in the future of healthcare Autonomy, ownership, and the ability to chart your own growth path Competitive salary with performance bonuses 100% employer-paid health, vision, and dental insurance Retirement plans (401k), disability insurance, employee assistance programs How to Apply Send your resume and a short note on one transformation you led that delivered measurable enterprise outcomes to .
