VACANCY NOTICE 2026 Summer Allegro Program Staff The Ashtabula County Educational Service Center is seeking qualified applicants for the positions of Allegro Program Staff to serve in Ashtabula County School Districts. The Ashtabula County Educational Service Center serves the Ashtabula Area City, Buckeye Local, Conneaut Area City, Geneva Area City, Grand Valley Local, Jefferson Area Local, and Pymatuning Valley Local school districts. Mission: The purpose of the Ashtabula County Educational Service Center is to be a high performing organization that enables districts to achieve excellence. Vacancy: Camp Staff for the 2026 Summer Allegro Program - Teachers Grades 3-8 Posting Date: February 13, 2026 Closing Date: March 1, 2026 Dates: Professional Development and Set Up: June 11 and 12, 2026 Camp Dates: June 15 to 26, 2026 Work Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Reports To: Camp Director for the Summer Allegro Program, Gifted and Talented Supervisor Compensation: $25.00 per hour Required Qualifications: Successful BCII/FBI background checks Certified teaching license Preferred Qualifications: Gifted license/endorsement and/or at least 30 hours of gifted professional development Middle school science, technology, math, visual arts, ELA, high school social studies Allegro Program Topics: Allegro Summer Camp is offered to students in grades 3-8 identified as gifted across Ashtabula County. Topics have included Lego Robotics, Engineering, Biology/Chemistry, Archeology, Programming with Python, Mock Trial, Visual/Performing Arts Portfolio. Mini sessions can include Wellness, Creative Writing, Newsletter Creation, In the Style of Visual Art. Students will attend two main sessions and one mini session per day for a total of six classes during the 10-day session.
