Check out our brands at Internship Description Our internship program is designed to provide a meaningful learning experience. Interns will complete structured projects within their area of study, applying classroom knowledge to real-world business challenges with clearly defined goals and outcomes. In addition, interns will collaborate on a cross-functional team project, working together to address and propose solutions to a company-selected initiative. Candidates must be available for eight consecutive weeks during the summer (specific dates to be determined). Responsibilities The Operations intern will be working with the Operations Department assisting with all current roles including import tracking, analyzing cost savings and ensuring our company reaches all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by tracking On Time Delivery (OTD), Inventory Accuracy and Error Rate. The main focus will be identifying cost savings relates to shipping costs for all prepaid shipments. Some of the specific responsibilities include the following: Review current work instructions and update any new changes or improvements to the processes Gain knowledge of current carriers (UPS, FEDEX, DHL) and identify additional carriers that can provide cost-savings while still providing speedy service. Analyze current shipping costs for Ground and Overnight shipments for each warehouse servicing our company. Assist with analysis of all metrics and create eye-catching charts and graphs Major Department Majors / School Programs include those related to: Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytics, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, General Business, Business Management, Business Communications...
