Bucket Truck Operator / Sign Crew Technician

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Bucket Truck Operator with strong mechanical knowledge to support our District-Wide Signing Operation throughout the Atlanta Metro area. This role works on interstates and state routes installing and maintaining overhead and ground-mounted roadway signage. Key Responsibilities Operate aerial lift/bucket trucks (20+ ft heights) for overhead sign installation and repair Install, replace, and maintain overhead span wire signs, gore signs, and extruded panel signage Operate fleet equipment including flatbed trucks and attenuator trucks Perform preventative maintenance and minor mechanical repairs on trucks, lifts, and job equipment Utilize power tools and hydraulic equipment for fabrication and installation Maintain materials inventory and ensure equipment readiness Respond to emergencies, including after-hours and weekends as needed QualificationsQualifications High School Diploma or GED Proven bucket truck/aerial lift operating experience preferred Mechanical aptitude (hydraulic, electrical, or equipment troubleshooting experience strongly preferred) Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights in extreme weather conditions Valid Class C Driver's License (ability to obtain Class B CDL) Ability to obtain Traffic Control Certification Additional InformationBenefit Highlights: A dynamic and fulfilling work environment Competitive pay Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug coverage 401(K) plan Generous Paid Time Off Opportunities for Career Growth Hourly pay rate: $17-19/hourly depending on experienceCome be a part of the DeAngelo family, today!
