Commercial Flooring Estimator

Job Description ConstructionExecs is conducting a confidential search on behalf of an established commercial flooring contractor in the Atlanta market. Our client is seeking an experienced Estimator / Preconstruction professional to support ongoing commercial work and contribute to a disciplined estimating process. Position Responsibilities • Prepare accurate estimates for commercial flooring projects • Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents • Perform digital takeoffs and quantity calculations • Track addenda and scope changes issued by general contractors • Assemble complete bid packages for submission • Support awarded project handoff to operations • Collaborate with internal preconstruction and leadership teams Candidate Profile • Experience in commercial construction estimating • Flooring or specialty trade experience preferred • Ability to read and interpret construction documents • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel • Professional written and verbal communication skills Experience with commercial flooring systems, including carpet, LVT, hardwood, tile, stone, and underlayment assemblies, is a plus.
