ARDMS Sonographer Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic cardiac echocardiography procedures using appropriate techniques and protocols. Operate equipment in line with registry standards, ensuring quality imaging results. Coordinate patient flow and assist in managing activities within the Cardiopulmonary Department. Exercise sound professional judgment in the care and maintenance of echocardiography equipment. Potentially perform other cardiology procedures as needed, depending on departmental requirements. On-call responsibilities may be required. ARDMS Sonographer Qualifications: Education: Associate's degree from an accredited Ultrasound / Sonography program. Licensure/Certification: Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentialed by either Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
