Controller

Required field. Our client is an organization in the Hennepin County area that's looking for a Controller. This position is hybrid. The salary for this job is $125K - $145K. The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, A/P, A/R, payroll, fixed assets, cost accounting, and inventory. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports in compliance with GAAP/IFRS. Lead budgeting and forecasting activities and analyze variances to explain key business drivers. Monitor and analyze manufacturing and inventory costs, margins, and operating expenses to improve profitability. Maintain and strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and safeguard assets. Manage cash flow and working capital, including preparation of cash flow forecasts. Lead audits, process improvements, and financial systems optimization, while providing leadership and strategic financial support to executive management. The Controller will possess the following: EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA preferred. 6+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance/accounting, preferably in manufacturing. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP One or Sage) and advanced Excel skills. Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools preferred. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
