This includes assessment of needs, selection and implementation of solutions, and on-going maintenance. The IT Manager also maintains the hardware and software components of the KCR network and cloud services, including data systems, networking components, phone services, Entra and Microsoft 365, GSuite, Windows Servers and workstations, MIP Accounting, and the security thereof. Demonstrated successful experience in planning and project management to implement a wide-variety of IT initiatives required. Demonstrated success in administration of company-wide programs to include development, collaboration, tracking and reporting. Certifications in IT-related subject matter areas preferred. Familiarity with MIP accounting and HR software, MS environments, ChildPlus, and Washington state provided web services preferred. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Demonstrated successful experience in following relevant IT processes, protocols and guidelines to promote stability and security of all IT related systems and equipment. Demonstrated ability to monitor and implement IT policies and processes across the agency. Vendor Management, Contract Management. Knowledge of IT equipment and peripherals, inventory controls and management of updating as needed. Network communications including VLAN, DNS, DHCP, switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless. Microsoft platforms and services including: Windows Server, File/Print, Active Directory, Entra, Microsoft 365 and Exchange, Teams/SharePoint/OneDrive, Google Suite (classroom features and tablet enrollment). Familiarity with hypervisors such as VMware or Hyper-V. Demonstrated ability to support and maintain phone systems such as Mitel/ShoreTel. Demonstrated ability to manage KCR website and domain. Understanding of security concepts and compliance requirements, such as Patriot Act, HIPAA, and “Category 4” data as defined by Washington Dept. of Commerce, and related security components for endpoint, cloud data policies, etc. Must demonstrate recognition and compassion for low-income people and the mission of KCR. License(s) and/or Certifications: Ability to pass KCR, State (Washington State Patrol) and/or Federal (fingerprint) Background Checks (prior to hire date). Valid Washington State Driver's License, current auto insurance and reliable transportation to operate company vehicles and/or utilize other vehicles for company business. Certifications as required and relevant to position. First Aide/CPR certification (within 90 days of employment). Responsibilities- Included but are not limited toStrategic: Act as the proactive lead for all agency technology guidance, initiatives, and support functions. Identifies KCR's IT needs, develops plans to address them and carries out appropriate initiatives by engaging the relevant agency personnel. Develop and maintain a multi-year Strategic IT Plan aligned with the organization's mission, growth objectives, and operational priorities. Establish and oversee a formal IT governance structure to guide technology investments, risk management, and policy enforcement. Lead technology roadmap development, ensuring infrastructure modernization and cloud strategy align with long-term organizational sustainability. Provide executive-level reporting on IT performance, cybersecurity posture, system health, and risk exposure. Partner with Leadership Team and department heads to assess technology needs and prioritize initiatives based on impact and risk mitigation. Integrate IT capital planning into the agency's annual budgeting and financial forecasting processes. Create, publish and maintain IT policies as appropriate (acceptable use, electronic communications, privacy, security, etc.) and provides input for agency manuals and guides. Cybersecurity & Risk Management: Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity program aligned with recognized frameworks. Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity awareness training program for all employees.Design, implement, document, support and maintain all KCR networks and systems to ensure stability and integrity of IT systems and services. Ensures data security including compliance with appropriate regulatory requirements, grantor/funder requirements, and cyber insurance and best practices. Respond to and resolve all IT security incidents. Provides for ongoing education of all staff regarding best practices and requirements for secure IT operations. Tactical: Maintain recordkeeping and reporting systems to ensure accurate information, with timely completion and follow up. Reports to and accepts assignments from KCR Leadership Team. Coordinates and collaborates with internal and external share and stakeholders to ensure the smooth implementation of IT solutions. Manage the IT Department staff. Provide for the identification, troubleshooting, resolution and tracking of IT support issues. Physical and virtual server provisioning, support, and maintenance primarily for Windows Server 2012R2/2016/2019/2022 and related VMware platforms, typically Dell hardware. Maintains? Unifi switch/routers, Sophos firewall and VPN, Ubiquiti Unifi wireless networking Provides for ample, secure data storage to meet agency needs. Provide for a secure MFA process to access Microsoft 365 agency-wide. Entra AD SSO integration. Develops and utilizes IT tools including remote patching, OS deployment, monitoring and alerting, and managing SEIM. Responsible for the inventory and purchasing of hardware, software and services. Ensures licensing compliance. Configures and documents all on-line services, including social media. (Facebook/Instagram business), KCR web hosting, Amazon business purchases, e-document/e-sign platforms, Zoom, etc. Ensures data backups and business continuity capabilities.
