CDLA Driver

CDL A Local DriverEssential job functions: Safely and efficiently transport vehicles to various destinations. Assist location with portering and detailing of vehicles when not assigned to a route using tractor/trailer. Be able to complete the following: Local Metro Detroit area pick- up and deliveries of vehicles. Day Shift. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and report any safety or mechanical concerns. Use of company equipment (tractor & trailer). Enclosed 2 car and lowboy trailer Moving cars, chassis and engine displays Maintain accurate driving logs, inspection reports, and trip documentation Maintain courteous and professional interactions with clients, ensuring on-time deliveries. Immediately report incidents or delays to management Vehicle functionality checks Vehicle detailing and show prep Battery replacement and charging Porter vehicles Perform additional duties as assigned by management Skills/requirements: Valid CDL A License with clean driving record 1+ years of professional driving experience required Knowledge of DOT regulations Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance 401(k) with an employer match program Paid time off (PTO) Lifting Requirements: 5 - 40 lbs.
