Become a Senior Companion! (Must be 55+)

AmeriCorps Senior Companions (Must be 55+) offer one-on-one support to other older adults who have difficulty completing everyday tasks. Volunteers assist with: grocery shopping escorts to medical appointments Respite to family caregivers medication reminders, and Socialization Because of this program, thousands of residents can live with dignity in their own homes. For their service, Senior Companions receive a $4.00 an hour (tax-free) stipend and reimbursement for: transportation some meals, and free accident and liability insurance during service.
