Hospital MRI Technologist - 13-Week Travel Assignment | Dixon, IL (61021) Travel MRI Technologist job in Dixon, IL (61021) - 13-week hospital assignment for a certified MRI technologist (ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT) with BLS. Job Details Location: Dixon, IL (61021) - travel MRI technologist position in Illinois Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (March 16, 2026 - June 15, 2026) Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,260-$2,430/week Shift Duration: 8 Hour Days Shift: 8-hour days; one week Monday-Friday, alternate week Monday-Thursday; primarily 8:00am-4:30pm, with one day per pay period 6:00am-2:30pm Hours: Guaranteed 72 hours per two weeks (approx. 40 hours/week) Setting: Acute care hospital - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) unit EMR: Cerner (transitioning to Epic on April 1) - experience with Cerner/Epic preferred Equipment: Siemens Altea MRI - hands-on experience with Siemens systems is a plus Dress Code: No specific scrub color required Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist or radiology tech experience preferred Valid ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required (certified MRI technologist) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Ability to start IVs preferred for contrast administration (not required) Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screen (OSF is a Drug-Free Campus) Ability to adapt to new EMR systems (Cerner and Epic) and accurately chart procedures Responsibilities Perform MRI scans using Siemens Altea equipment in a hospital setting, following imaging protocols Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper screening throughout MRI procedures Administer IV contrast when qualified and document contrast use accurately Accurately document and chart procedures in Cerner/Epic and maintain imaging records Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient care Participate in department orientation on the first day and follow hospital policies and procedures Maintain infection control, safety standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements Why Join This Travel MRI Technologist Opportunity Gain travel MRI experience in an acute care hospital using advanced Siemens Altea technology Work with a supportive radiology team and expand your hospital-based imaging skills Experience life in Dixon, IL - scenic riverfront, historic charm, and a welcoming community Advance your MRI career with this travel MRI technologist job in Dixon, Illinois.
