Job Title: SAP Basis / ABAP (Non-HANA) Consultant Location: Martinez, CA (Onsite) Contract Job Description We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis with ABAP (Non-HANA) professional to support and maintain SAP ECC environments. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in SAP Basis administration along with solid ABAP development and troubleshooting skills. This is an onsite contract role based in Martinez, CA. Key Responsibilities Perform SAP Basis administration activities including system installation, configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting. Manage SAP ECC (Non-HANA) systems across development, QA, and production landscapes. Handle transports, system refreshes, client copies, upgrades, patches, and kernel updates. Monitor system performance, background jobs, spool, and system logs. Provide ABAP support including debugging, performance tuning, and minor enhancements. Collaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve system and application issues. Ensure system availability, security, and compliance with organizational standards. Support incident management, problem resolution, and change management activities. Document system configurations, procedures, and operational guidelines. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration. Solid working knowledge of ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming). Experience with SAP ECC / Non-HANA environments. Proficiency in system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Experience with transport management and SAP landscape management. Ability to work independently in an onsite environment. Strong communication and documentation skills.
