Job Description

Resource will perform BA activities for SDLC in IOT Data Exchange programs and projects. Primary Objectives for DX BA Role • Lead standard BA activities for SDLC in IOT Data Exchange programs and projects. • Support new DX PM on project management processes (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps methodologies). • Continue stakeholder communication/reporting from DX team. • Lead DX billing and financial analysis processes. General IOT DX BA Activities • Lead and manage DX billing/chargeback processes for IOT Data Exchange tools. • Support DX budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and technology pricing. • Help develop and implement strategic initiatives for improved DX efficiency and productivity. • Identify substandard processes through data evaluation and lead process improvement efforts. • Perform, evaluate, and communicate quality assurance at every project phase. • Partner with stakeholders across IOT teams and agencies to promote collaborative communication and activities. Specific IOT DX BA SDLC Activities • Discovery: Draft personas, user stories, and BRDs for stakeholder review/sign-off. • Discovery: Define, draft and lead requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis. • Design: Collaborate with technical experts and business users to determine design details. • Development: Translate/clarify requirements between technical and business stakeholders. • Testing: Provide user acceptance criteria and work with developers and testers to ensure criteria are met. • Production Deployment: Present project deliverables to stakeholders to confirm acceptance and capture fixes/updates needed for future versions of solution. • Closing: Engages stakeholders on closure activities (confirm project deliverables, sign-off, etc.). • General PM support: oSupport project planning processes with transparent communication to relevant teams. oSupport DevOps backlog and work item grooming and management. oSupport IOT Data Exchange program KPI development, management, and reporting. oAssist socializing and ensuring stakeholders use standard Center for Excellence processes. oProvide regular project status update reports to IOT leadership/project stakeholders. oCreates project documentation and user-training manuals. oAnalyzes and reports project budgets/financing/chargebacks, etc. Required/Desired Skills SkillRequired /DesiredAmountof ExperienceMinimum of two years professional experience in a Business Analyst role Required2YearsExperience with software development life cycle, spanning the lifecycle from project initiation to development, testing, and deployment Required2YearsUnderstand the Agile development processes and be familiar with requirements gathering techniques Required2YearsAble to collect data, analyze it, and develop sound reporting to track, recommend and forecast enhancements to systems and processes Required2YearsAnalyze business and user needs, document requirements and devise and facilitate the delivery of new technical business system solutions to customers Required2YearsStrong project management skills and ability to plan work and meet projects deadlines Required0Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and capacity to work in a team environment Required0Ability to establishes and maintain strategic partnerships with assigned customers to help them meet their business and technical need Required0Demonstrated capacity to analyze, understand, and capture business data and act on findingsRequired0Ability to work with minimal supervision and build credibility with business and IT leaders and varying levels of the organization Required0Ability to accurately and concisely present proposals and solutions to a wide audience Required0Proficient in the use of MS Office suite of products (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project, Word) Required0Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality Required0Bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics, information management, business, or related technical fields Required0Experience using Business Intelligence and DevOps software (ex., PowerBI, Tableau, Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, GitHub, etc.)Highly desired0 Questions No.QuestionQuestion1Absences greater than two weeks MUST be approved by CAI management in advance, and contact information must be provided to CAI so that the resource can be reached during his or her absence.
